A Blinding Fanta-See!

It’d be so much better if we could all SEE it!

It may have been invented with good intentioned objectives, most of which have been spectacularly achieved, probably light-years beyond what was initially anticipated, but ultimately, social media has evolved into a whole independent world, with much more chaos that contributes to the already existing one in the real world.

You could very easily find many individuals who love their social media virtual lives more than twice as much as they appreciate their real lives! It is through no fault of their own though, because if you compared their virtual lives with their real lives, you too might prefer their virtual lives.

They are practically virtually more loved and appreciated, they are validated, they get more attention there, evident from the notifications blow-ups.

So generally, it is more perceptibly justified for them to appreciate this virtual world more, invest a lot of their time and effort in it, because it really looks and seems worthy.

If you belong to this category of people, I wish there were more good news than bad news for you! It may seem that way because now that I think about it, the list of good news might physically appear longer, more populated, but the effects of the bad news on the short and less populated list are immensely and subliminally catastrophic. Not just to you, but your surroundings as well.

You could almost literally connect all your social problems (and more) to social media. Try and think about them, you will realize they are rooted in social media. It is a network of problems. For example; are you lonely? You don’t have anyone to talk to, the people you were hoping to talk to prefer you text them than call, when you text, they either don’t reply or reply late and you don’t exactly get to have a meaningful conversation. They are distracted by some videos on TikTok, or some thread on Twitter, or they are busy updating their statuses.

This is only the tip of the iceberg, there’s more to it that all in the end turns out to be depressing! Then there is real life to come back to when all that is put aside; CHAOS!

We are cruising so fast into the future on an enormously thick fog filled road, we need to tighten our seatbelts as hard as they can be!

Thank you for reading. Happy new year.
